15 year old reporter
The most accomplished English-speaker at TVM is 15-year old Toofah. She voiced the English version of the legal reform package like a pro. She is interning here as a translator until she leaves the country for higher education and this was her first on-air package. The pure joy on her face when the package aired… priceless!
Update: she also packaged the fish market accident in English and did a standup from the scene.
Another update: it didn’t take long before a company starting a private radio station called Toofah with a job offer. Hands off, she’s not going anywhere!
